What sets René teaching apart from all other pain relief methods is his expertise on precise details in targeting and treating the root of most chronic muscular pain: the brain and the way in which it senses and controls muscles and movement and responds to therapies.
René teaches you how to see the connection between mind and body. The workshops are packed with in sites of how the body responses to trauma and therapies, and how we can respond back to provide the proper treatment needed for a clients unique situation. At the time I did not know about Thai Massage and back then there was no Google to look it up. It took about a year until I came across a book on Thai massage and quickly saw why my clients though i was using Thai massage techniques.
In all my sessions I always include stretching, some of which I integrating from yoga classes. Seeing the books on Thai massage reassured I was on the right path of integrating modalities to beter treat patients needs.
In 1995 I began my studies in oriental modalities while attending the Acupuncture College & Massage School In Miami Florida where I majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Although I continued to give massages with my hands, forearms, elbows, and knees, I began to develop my own style of barefoot massage. I started experimenting and improvising on friends and other therapist. In 2008 I went to Thailand for 6 weeks to study Thai massage and other native modalities. I returned again in 2010 for 10 months to teach and also continue learning and developing my technique.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Barefoot Massage ” tab_id=”4623c839-ad1c-8″][vc_column_text]In the Barefoot massage course and the advance courses you are taught techniques on how to use your feet as a tool for massage therapy.
